Dr. Hannah Dodson, founder of Leadline Wellness, is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Health Informatician with over 20 years of experience in primary care, clinical research, and healthcare analytics. She is dedicated to combining her expertise to redefine the future of wellness.
Based in North Carolina, she earned her doctoral degree in nursing practice with advanced certification in health informatics from Duke University and completed the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Vanderbilt University.
Throughout her career, Dr. Dodson has made significant contributions to the fields of clinical practice and informatics, sharing her research at academic conferences and publishing in peer reviewed journals. She has mentored master’s and doctoral students as a clinical assistant professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
In 2023, she was honored with the national Press Ganey Excellence Award for exceptional clinical quality and commitment to patient engagement. She has also served as an expert speaker for the American Gastroenterological Association’s clinical practice update on alpha-gal syndrome.
My Journey
My career has always been about one mission: helping people feel better. But several years ago, life threw me a curveball. I faced a painful divorce, my health took a nosedive, and the one bright spot I shared with my daughter—our beloved horse, Jack—was injured, leaving us considering the unthinkable.
I was struggling just to stay afloat. How could I remain positive during precious moments with my daughter? How could I juggle work demands? How could I keep moving forward?
In that challenging time, I discovered the power of wellness. I unearthed simple, effective strategies to reclaim my health and mindset. I tapped into an inner strength to navigate the storm of my divorce and identified the root of my health issues—alpha-gal syndrome. By making impactful changes to my diet and nutrition, I not only transformed my own well-being but also helped Jack on his road to recovery.
It wasn’t an easy journey, but I crafted tools to combat stress, cultivate positivity, and nurture my mind, body, and spirit. Now, I’m passionate about helping others find practical, straightforward ways to enhance their health.

A Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP), has advanced medical training and can diagnose and treat health conditions, prescribe medications, and oversee medical care. It requires a graduate degree from an accredited university and thousands of hours of training to become a Nurse Practitioner.
A National Board Certified Health Coach undergoes 85-100 hours of specific training related to health coaching and motivational interviewing to support clients during their wellness journey.
To become a Board-Certified health coach, the National Society of Health Coaches (NSHC) offers one of the most respected health coach certification programs.
